Purpose of Position | The Manager of Admissions is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the entire process of recruitment, admissions, and enrollment, focusing on the assigned territories and designated student populations . This role involves developing and nurturing relationships with high school guidance counselors and community college coordinators to effectively attract and recruit prospective students for NKU. A key aspect of this role is to continually enhance and refine recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and talented pool of prospective students. The Manager of Admissions will collaborate closely with various stakeholders within the organization, such as faculty, department heads, and admissions staff, to ensure a seamless and efficient admissions process, including coordinating recruitment events, conducting informational sessions, and participating in outreach activities to engage with potential students and their families. |

Qualifications | Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Three years experience with experience in Higher Education preferred. Ability to develop and execute comprehensive recruitment and admissions strategies to attract a diverse and talented pool of prospective students. Must have excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills, strong analytical and organization skills, and strong communication skills to effectively communicate with prospective students, parents, and stakeholders. Strong customer service skills to provide pre-admissions counseling, promptly respond to inquiries, and deliver exceptional support to prospective students throughout the admissions process. Results-driven with an ability to make accurate and deliberate decisions and the ability to exercise discretion and maintain privacy. Understanding and appreciation of diversity, ensuring inclusive recruitment practices to attract a diverse student body. Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to communicate with prospective students, parents, and stakeholders effectively. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required. A valid driver's license and dependable vehicle are also necessary. |
