Job Summary

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for the successful and timely delivery of infrastructure and application development solutions. They lead and manage multiple large, cross functional, and highly complex projects and/or technical initiatives while appraising the value and outcomes delivered to the organization. The Technical Project Manager will facilitate the development of the comprehensive project strategy, its major time frames, and the classification of its major deliverables to drive successful implementation.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. The Rawlings Company will not sponsor applicants for work visas.

Hours: Day shift, 40-hour work weeks. During training, 8am - 5pm. Flexible schedule options available between 7am - 7pm after six months of employment.

Setting: Professional office environment. Hybrid option available.

Responsibilities

  • Drives projects by providing leadership and daily management of projects and tasks.
  • Ensures adoption of agile methodology best practices to simplify project delivery.
  • Proactively manages project activities to ensure effective communication, removal of barriers and timely delivery of benefits to the business.
  • Ability to foster collaborative relationships with business, information technology and executives to support the delivery and seamless integration of infrastructure solutions.
  • Monitors and optimizes project initiatives to ensure intended project objectives are aligned with organizational goals and missions.
  • Guarantees predicted project investments generate quantifiable business value during the initial planning process.
  • Evaluates ongoing business conditions to assure project initiatives are continuously relevant while validating that business units are prepared to efficiently adopt initiative outcomes.
  • Develops robust governance protocol, including regular progress reviews, milestone tracking, and issue resolution processes, to identify risks and safeguard project deliverables.
  • Provides clarity on project status to all Stakeholders while ensuring projects adhere to required timescales, costs, and quality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
  • 3+ years Project Management experience managing projects for software engineering and/or infrastructure teams
  • 2-3 years' Agile delivery experience; Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) preferred
  • Scrum Master Certification desired
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus
  • Proficient in Excel/Word/Visio
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Advanced Azure DevOps experience
  • Experience in a technology dependent environment
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to deliver diverse projects with a track record of success

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently remains in sitting position for long periods of time to perform duties

  • Frequently uses computer peripherals requiring the use of hands and fingers
